Booking

How often do your books open?
I open my books every two months around the middle of the month, and schedule for the following two months.

How do I know when your books open?
I post the date my books will open in my Instagram bio a few weeks before and post reminders on my story periodically (turn on your reminders!)

How do I book with you?
When my books are open, I will post a link to two inquiry forms (one for flash, and one for custom requests).
Both links will be posted in my bio via Linktree, and Insta bio.
If your request is accepted you will receive a link to book an appointment through Calendly (check your spam folders!)
A deposit will need to be paid via Venmo within 48 hours.

How long do I wait to hear back from you?
It takes me 1-2 weeks to get through all of my emails, although I try my best to get through them quickly!

Can I schedule via email/DM?
Please do not DM questions about booking unless you are responding to a story about a cancellation.
I prefer to communicate through email for all other questions.

How often are you flash only?
I tattoo "flash only" during July and August

How do I see your flash designs?
All available flash can be seen in my Instagram highlight reel labeled "Available Flash". I will update this periodically.
Policies

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
All appointments can be rescheduled if given 48 hours notice.
If rescheduled within 48 hours, an additional $50 deposit will be required.

Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable
Deposits are transferable for one reschedule.
Additional deposits are required for each additional reschedule.

Can I bring a guest with me?
Yes, you can bring one guest with you. They may sit next to you or wait in the common area (if there is room).
Guests may be asked to wait elsewhere if determined by me or other artists in the studio.

Can I change my mind about the design?
Absolutely! Please don't get something you don't want.
Small changes can be made the day of the appointment.
Complete redraws may need to be rescheduled.

Do you allow numbing creams?
I do allow clients to use numbing creams, but require you to come to the appointment with the numbing cream already applied for the recommended amount of time.
I encourage you to do research into numbing creams before purchasing, and do a spot test on a different area of the skin ahead of time.

Do you tattoo people who are breastfeeding?
I do not tattoo people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do you tattoo faces and hands/feet?
I do not currently tattoo faces, necks, or hands/feet (including behind the ear and fingers).
I will tattoo slightly onto the neck or hand/foot (and would like to do this more).

Do you require masks?
I am not requiring masks at this time.
Pricing

What is your rate?
I charge per piece (not hourly). This helps me focus on providing you with my best work and not on time.
All flash prices are listed online. If there is a range, I will confirm with you the exact amount (varies by size) before booking.
Custom pieces will be priced via email prior to booking.

How much is your deposit?
I require a $100 deposit to secure an appointment

Do you have a minimum?
My flash minimum is $150 and my custom minimum is $200

What if I want multiple small tattoos?
Multiple small tattoos will have a reduced price to what is listed. I will quote this as well.

Do you work with budgets?
I do work with budgets! We can break up sessions, redraw something more simple/ small, or get a discounted piece (let me do something I have less experience with).

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash payments are preferred. I also accept Venmo/Cash app if needed.
Cancelations

Do you have a cancellation list?
I do not have a cancellation list! All cancellation spots will be posted on my Instagram story (usually last minute).

What if I need to cancel last minute?
Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. No call / no shows will not be booked again unless a valid excuse is provided and additional $100 deposit paid.
Customs

Do I get to see the design ahead of time?
I send sketches of custom designs on a case-by-case basis.
Large scale pieces and people traveling from out of town may receive a concept sketch and can give feedback one time.
Final drawings are shown the day of.

Can I make changes to the design the day of?
Small changes can be made at the beginning of the appointment.
Large changes may require the appointment to be rescheduled.

Can I request a custom design of retired flash?
Any designs you have seen in the past can be drawn again as a custom! (with changes)

Do you do large pieces (sleeves, back pieces, etc)?
I am starting to work on concepts for larger pieces and will offer them at a heavily discounted rate. Let me know if you're interested!
Existing Work (not by me)

Will you add onto / re-work an existing piece?
I will add onto / continue a tattoo by another artist on a case-by-case basis.

Do you do cover ups / blast overs?
I do not typically take on cover ups unless they are very small and/or light. I am interested in blast over tattoos (where you can still see the original tattoo underneath).
Freehand Designs

What will you freehand?
I will freehand any botanical elements that appear in my other designs. I will only freehand flowers/foliage.

How do I request a freehand?
You can request a freehand through the custom inquiry form when it is posted. Include the elements you would like in the design and a photo of the area to be tattooed.
Shop Info

Where is your studio located?
We are located in Central Easide Portland

What is the parking situation?
There is street parking available around the area. Please allow time to find a spot and walk to the shop!

Is the studio ADA accessable?
We are located on the 4th floor. There is a freight elevator available for ADA use only and must be coordinated with me for use.
At the Appointment

Should I shave beforehand?
I will shave the area at the appointment!

What should I wear?
Wear clothing that you are comfortable in and allows full access to the area being tattooed.
Privacy screens and nipple covers are available for sensitive placements.

What should I bring?
Recommended: Layers (we have a/c), water and snacks (we also provided some), headphones / entertainment, cash!

Can I request a silent appointment?
Absolutely! I'm not always talkative so you can also request a chatty appointment:)

What ink do you use?
I use Dynamic Ink for my black, and Eternal Ink for gray washes and white ink.
Flash Alterations

Can I request changes to a flash piece?
Yes, If there is a flash piece you would like tweaked, still submit it under a flash request.
Changes include removing or changing 1-2 small elements, making shading darker/lighter, or modifying the shape to fit an existing space.
Color Tattoos

Do you work with color?
I am not working with color at this time.
Subject Matter

What subject matter are you interested in?
Anything botanical / foliage, insects, birds
Becoming interested in sea life!

If I don't see something on your page, can I request it?
You can always ask!
It must be able to be done in my own style and not too different from my current work.

Do you do script / text?
I do not do script as its own booking, but will do it as an addition to an accepted proposal.
Aftercare

What products do you recommend?
Unscented liquid anti-bacterial soap : Dial Gold
Unscented water based lotion : Lubriderm or similar

Do you use second skin?
I offer Dermshield for those who do not have reactions to adhesives.

Touch ups

How do I schedule a touch up?
Email me when you are ready and I'll send you some available dates within 2 weeks. Appointments are available at the beginning and end of my work days and times will vary.

How long should I wait before getting a touch up?
I prefer to wait at least a month before scheduling.

Are touch ups free?
Touch ups are free within one year of the appointment and $20 after.
